GOD READS MY BLOG

TO BE KNOWN

Do you see me
Can you hear my heart
Have I poured out, and given part
Of my treasures deep within
Has who I am, been truly given
To you as a gift
I can’t see you
Do you think you know me
Together by words, are we free
Can we fill each others needs
To be known

Does God read my blog? I believe He does. I believe He is my number one fan. The desire to be known, and there is one who knows us more than anyone.
God takes more interest in us than we can truly understand. Blogging, I have come to realize, I have a strong desire for my voice to be heard. Not only are we heard but our person is revealed through what we write. Our interest, our person, personality, passion, heart, and Character for the most part. Are we the same person outside of the blog as we portray ourselves in the blog? Well for me, the blog brings out the best of me and that is one of the reasons I love it here. I do love this community! I want to be able to express myself outside of this blog as well as I do inside it.

There are so many writers on wordpress. All seeking the same thing, longing for our voices to be heard. Hoping for as many likes as we can get. We all desire to be liked. If we struggle to talk to people face to face, blogging sets you free to unleash all that has been bottled up! The question remains though ” does God read my blog”? If He does, what does He think about it? Is what I am writing about, adding to others in a positive uplifting way? Am I providing a service to help others? Is what I am writing, giving something that I have spent years sacrificing, learning, growing, suffering, pouring myself into to give away?

If God is reading your blog, would you write about the same things? Would you write directly to Him? I’m guessing you never thought about it! Is what you write solely for yourself? Not as If there is anything wrong with that, I only ask merely to direct your thoughts. I know writing fills a certain need in each of us! I guess, the inspirational heart God has given me, is to inspire others to find more joy, satisfaction, blessings, purpose, and gratifying extension of yourself through your writing. I know by having a heart first toward others, fills a deep place in my heart. I believe because of my relationship with God and my deep love for Him, my writing is inspired by Him. I actually believe He reads it, before I write it. Sometimes I write so fast because the thoughts flow like a rushing stream. Sometimes I pause and wait on the Holy spirit. My desire is for when you leave my blog, that God leaves with you, holding your hand. I hope that as your reading it, He is sitting at your side reading it with you. I believe God reads my blog!

The Call of Jeremiah
4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying,

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
6 “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”

7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

thank you for all of the likes, I desire to know your hearts as well, please leave your thoughts and comments! Thank you and have a blessed day!

  1. I totally agree. God does not only read mine, but inspires me with what He wants to say through me. Our words can bless those who need to be blessed, encourage those who need encouragement, and bring hope to those who are in despair. Our voice is God’s tool to use to get his message to those who need to hear what He is saying through us.

  2. Grateful to hear your questioning and seeking God’s favor … It is my desire as well to be pleasing to God and to share the wonders of our Cteator’s love for us.

  3. God knows our thoughts so He not only reads our blogs, but, He reads our thoughts when we read other blogs, and whatever else we do on the internet…
We cannot hide abything from Heaven so we should be in open discussion with God at all times…this is difficult to do though…

  4. I love this blog post. I can relate in so many ways! When I read the title, my first reaction was, I’m not sure if God reads my blog, but he sure helps me write it! Sometimes the thoughts flow faster than I can type, so I definitely need to proofread before I post to make sure I didn’t leave out a word that could drastically change the meaning. Look forward to reading more of your posts!
