Empty jars, dry land, a leaking faucet
Hiding in the closet of my reality
Wanting more, regret a broken record
Skipping over and over
Looking back at a prosperous land
Desiring to go back
Placing once again it’s fruit in hand
Oh it’s taste so sweet, only if I can
Go back to my first fruits
Must I grow, must I face
These challenges, looking to grace
Marking this place, as I continue the race
Marked out for me
Wrestling with the strong man
I lay down my life
Giving it back to Him
As I wait for whats in-store
I’m sure He will hand me
Fruit I’ve never had before

Choices, isn’t it funny as we get older, realizing the power in our choices. The value in our choices. If we choose wrong, the amount of regret we feel. Regret can hold us back and cripple us. How the enemy can slip a thought into our drink. The next thing you know you have been drugged with lies. All to disguise Gods purpose in using all things for our good! Even in our wrong choices, we can only defeat the strong man by laying our lives down once again. Trusting God to work it all out for our good. Learning to use our bad choices as an opportunity to grow. Not allowing our bad choices to lead us into more bad choices.

Mark 3:27 [Full Chapter]

In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.

I know the only way I can bind up the strong man in myself, Is to surrender him to God, laying my life down to Him.

Isaiah 53:12

Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

He intercedes for us in our choices, when we meet Him in that place, we can pick up our cross and once again get in line with Him and His purpose.
