SITTING AT HIS SIDE ENTHRONED

Thrown into a pit
Extremely difficult, I must admit
The thought of a throne, I might one day sit
Was never on my mind
The pit took my Identity you see
It swallowed my hope
It stripped me of life
It filled my heart with strife
Like Joseph, I was a slave
Never understanding, the road it would pave
How a pit could form a Man
I think for anyone, it’s hard to understand
Unless from the pit, God takes your hand
Then begins to walk you towards the promise land
Things you see, are just not how they seem
Though some of us cause our own pits
If one grows and humbly admits
A change takes place inside
A journey begins, a ride
Out from the pit, to the skies
From the judgment of being stoned, to
Sitting at His side, enthroned

Revelation 3:21 (KJ21) | In Context | Whole Chapter

21 To him that overcometh, will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with My Father on His throne.
