LIFE FOUND IN A STUMP

PLANTING TREESd

LIFE FOUND IN A STUMP

Israel has fallen, the tree stands no more
The axe has been swung, and down she comes
Where the tree stood, only a stump remains
Damaged, rotting, broken and stained
And so the song is sung by the Angels tongue
I will make the rivers flow on barren heights
And springs within the valley’s
I will turn the desert into pools of water
And the parched ground into springs
See I am doing a new thing, do you not perceive
And all whom are wise shall see his glory
He set the trees together
“I will put the cedar in the wilderness
The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress
And though they all get cut down
And only their stumps remain
He made a promise through the ages
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse
From his roots a Branch will bear fruit
Through Jesus hallelujah

I want to give you some insight to this deep poem full of scriptures. At a time when Israel was fallen from God, the scriptures tell us that They were still Gods chosen and our God was about to do something, send Jesus! God describes Israel like a tree cut down and left to be a stump! He speaks of a shoot that will come out of the stump bringing new life and fruit!

He also talks about trees that God, Jesus will put together which speaks of each of us and so the poem is about each of us when we feel like a cut down tree, that a savior Jesus was sent to bring a shoot from our stumps to bring fruit and new life!
The shoot is Jesus, God bless!

A PERSPECTIVE OF THE SCALE OF LIFE

images

There are so many smart and wise people on this earth. They have a strong inner person to do right and make right choices. People who choose to do the right thing and treat others the way they want to be treated, because of the strong morals that have been either instilled in them or have been a conviction of their own heart.

People who by choosing right have received blessings for their wonderful choices. Not that they haven’t had struggles, because they have, but their strong will to choose right and do good no matter what, has benefited them greatly.

The only problem for a great majority of them is their struggle wrestling with, is there a God? A good majority have a hard time believing in a God because they see no need for God. They have done just fine without Him, or have they?

You see I hope you will be challenged by my perspective and my strong belief. Though unlike you, I didn’t begin with such a strong conviction to do good and choose right. Unfortunate or purposed, I under went many difficulties and poor role models, That tempted me to choose the opposite, I took the wrong course!

Which leads me to this topic (A PERSPECTIVE OF THE SCALE OF LIFE) You see the bible discuses Gods scale of blessing! His words are, you reap what you sow! So regardless if your a believer or not, His scale will never change. If you are sowing character by your great Choices, you will reap the blessing!

What does this mean at the end of your life? Will God remember all of your good even though you never believed in Him?

Romans 3:23 NIV 23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

So even if you do right and choose good you still fall short of the glory of God!

Romans 3:10-18New King James Version (NKJV)

10 As it is written:

“There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;

The scripture says none are righteous not one; none who seeks after God.

So is it harder for someone who is broken and chooses wrong or someone who chooses right to seek God?

I believe it is hard for both on the scale of life. I also think it might be easier for someone broken because they have great need which puts them in position to seek for help no matter where, and even last resort, seeking God!

So the challenge or greatest character choice for someone who does and chooses well within themselves is, to seek God regardless if they see their need!

The need might not be now, but what about the end of your life? You spent your whole life choosing right but missed the most important choice which is seeking God! When you do seek and receive Him, you get the greatest blessing of your life, salvation!

Yet if your own ability grows pride so you never do seek Him, find yourself guilty of that sin, and unrepentant leads to eternity in hell!

I pray and hope you will consider my perspective and belief and most importantly the word of God!

God bless you in seeking Him!

UNTIL WE ARE FACE TO FACE

anniversary-2x

Happy Anniversary with WordPress.com!
You registered on WordPress.com 3 years ago!
Thanks for flying with us. Keep up the good blogging!

I can say these three years have been a blessing! I have enjoyed sharing my heart for the word of God!
Putting my take and understanding of the christian walk through poetry! My goal is to reach 5000 followers, as Jesus fed 5000.

Oh Lord how your mercy covers me
Your spirit covers my soul
With your love everlasting
I’m blessed by your visitations of the heart
I’m a part of something wonderful
Greater is He who is in me
Than He who is in the world
Your a pearl of great price
You entice the spirit within me
To reach for more of you
Your my life, my source, my purpose
Let the dead things fall, and your life in me surface
So I might serve you well
My God I must tell
Of your everlasting grace
Until we are face to face

God bless!

I WILL NOT BE SHAKEN

rainbow1

Those who hope in the Lord will not be shaken
The needy need water, a water within
A well of hope happens, when your born again
How can a grown man enter his mothers womb a second time
Those of the flesh are born of the flesh
Yet those who live by the spirit are born of the spirit
Invite Him in, ask Him to forgive you and live inside of you
It’s true the spirit of God enters your heart
And then you are part of the living truth
This is why you can hope in any situation
Trust me it’s not in my imagination or some sensation
It’s a deep loving relation, with the king of kings
You see His mercy’s never end and His promises endure
I am sure, because He lives in me, imperfect though I’m free
No circumstance shall I be overtaken
Because My hope is in the Lord Jesus
I will not be shaken

BY THIS GRAIN OF SAND

BY THIS GRAIN OF SAND

Life is but an hourglass holding precious time
One knows not how much it holds, or what they’ll find
As the sand falls, it only reminds
Life is short, It’s value is in, to whom you’ll report
The time you were given, the moments lost, sin to be forgiven
Time to grow, to overcome, for some, it will be too late
If you can relate, this moment is precious, the sand falling is a lesson
For those who take it for granted, but those in Him who are planted
Words to reach the heart, a surge of hope to restart
Regain ones focus, the voice of one calling, is a token
To those who hear, time is near, open your heart and do not fear
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end
They are new every morning; it is time to change the story
I’m handing you one grain of sand, this grain holds the power to stand
And change the course of your life, take it and do what is right
In the sight of the Lord, take this grain, let it remain
In your heart. Let today be the beginning of a new start
Do not part with it, use it then give it away
Lord take this grain of sand I pray
Give it the power to touch and relay
Your heart and love to all who receive it
From the sand Adam was formed and so shall the hearts of your saints be
By this grain of sand

IN ALL ETERNITY

IN ALL ETERNITY

Am I dreaming? Where is this tunnel leading?
How did I get here? Why am I here?
The sound of something coming near
It’s very dark with a blinding light in the distance
It looks, light years away, like a star in the night sky
I have no fear, the closer I get the joy I feel
bringing tears as I’m overtaken and begin to cry
My life displayed before my eyes, the good with the bad
Like a movie screen, the life that I had
Out of the darkness came an evil looking creature
His features were of one who came back from the dead
Though he was talking and moving his head
He said, you are deserving of damnation
In the most scary wicked voice
There is no other choice but to charge you
In his hands, what looked like chains, as he walked towards me
From behind me a creature stepped in front, saying he is free
The creature was like a lion, and it had wings of an eagle
I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet
He was there to defeat the liar
And escort me to my king
As the enemy descended, the creature talked and defended
Against every word of the enemy
As the light burst outward consuming all darkness
I heard His voice, I saw thousands behind him, dressed in white
I fell to my knees, as the creature stood me upright
I have pleaded your case, my blood has covered you
Enter my beloved, as he reached out his hand
I said, I understand what you have done for me
I grabbed Him, arms rapped around him, because of you I am free
I will never let go
In all eternity

NIGHT TERRORS

NIGHT TERRORS

Waking with seizure like symptoms
So young and innocent, but the nightly rhythms
Of his sleep, is interrupted with terror in the deep
Unconsciousness of his mind. Is there something behind this evil
At age two, waking to bees on his bottle
At a time he’s just learning to toddle
Having to deal with such attacks
The black bird on the dresser
The shadow man, the aggressor
It leaves one to question, what is happening here
Is there more to appear, is something unclear
In what I can do, how and why is this happening
I need answers to these questions I’m asking
I will ask the Pastor of our church
A door was opened he said, find it, close it
Then go to his bed and pray
That night we joined hands, a gave the commands, to be gone
There was a sound like a bomb that went off in the corner of the room
There were dark powers chased away I assume
They will no longer resume
Night terrors

SHEEP THAT WENT ASTRAY

rainbow1

SHEEP THAT WENT ASTRAY

They stood grazing, in the heat of the sun
All of the flock was content, except one
Always with his adventurous ways
This sheep of the flock decided to stray
Many of the other sheep warned him to stay
Regardless of what they had to say
His heart was filled with desire, and he ran away
Now a sheep without a Shepard, it wasn’t long, he was lost
It was around day break and darkness set in, and came frost
His sheared skin now cold, and he was feeling alone
He began to regret leaving, stubborn as he was, cleaving to his journey
A voice comes burning in his ears, “you there, come over here
Why did you leave your flock?”
Not seeing the sneaky wolf behind the rock
I’m on a journey he said
I’m tired of the flock, I want adventure instead
Come over here to the rock, and I will show you adventure
Then he painted a picture of the most richest pasture
He said he would take him and that he knew the master
Blinded and excited by the temptation, he was headed to disaster
As he began to move towards the rock
Suddenly he heard a loud bang, the wolf was shot
And fell from behind the rock, startled the sheep thought
I was almost eaten, and then he seen him holding his gun
The Shepard stood looking for one
Sheep that went astray

Luke 15 New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Lost Sheep
15 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
