Who’s tears fall, when you touch the heart
Who smiles when you gently start, revealing
Truth, bringing healing to my soul
I want to know, are there others like me
Who simply love worshiping, being set free
Who daily struggles with who I am
Knowing, I’m not just any man
But a child of the living God
Am I odd, to think of greatness
Am I crazy to dream of such things
To have been captured by your love
Knowing everything I need comes from above
Is it silly to adore you
More than the things of this world
Is it strange to think, after your birth
We were given power to change the earth
You gave and now we can give away
Is it funny to say, Christ now lives in me
Though I’m far from perfect
And many can see my flaws
Yet I’m with you, and you cover me
Is it just me

Romans 12:2 ESV /

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

You, who are reading this
Take this time to focus
On what is true, in your heart
Rid yourself from the locust
Longing to steal your joy
Let go of yesterday, today is new
Forget your troubles and worries
Stop struggling
With anything other than your heart
Your heart in Him
Listen to His words, and take them in
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak
Even youths grow tired and weary
and young men stumble and fall
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
they will run and not grow weary
they will walk and not be faint
See you are His saints
Grace be to God
You are His beloved, don’t be shocked
Renew the truth in your heart
So do not fear, He says, for I am with you
do not be dismayed, for I am your God
I will strengthen you and help you
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand
“All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish
Though you search for your enemies
you will not find them
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all
For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear
I will help you

Standing, hands upon me
A vision seen
A water pitcher, hanging over me
Bright light, is all I see
Then I feel the water, from my head to my feet
I begin to tremble, tears falling from my face
His spirit upon me, revealing his grace
Childhood demon chased away
The house is clean, and swept today
The fullness of his spirit is on me
Like a giant mountain thrown into the sea
I now know what it’s like to be free
Shock upon my heart
The truth, I don’t even know where to start
It’s like i’m in a trance, or have seen a flying saucer
Am I dreaming, is this an impostor
I have been instantly changed
My life turned upside down, rearranged
The demon sent to the desert, wandering alone
He will look back, missing home
Grabbing seven of his friends as he groans
Longing to return and occupy
If kept clean and in order, he cannot try
I’m set free

Luke 11:24-26New International Version (NIV)

24 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ 25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.”

I believe this is a warning, when we are freed, our enemy will gather more evil spirits to try to take us down. Once we have received Gods truth and healing, the more we will need to cling to Him. He has already won, but we still have an individual fight, with Christ by our side. Stay strong in Him!

There in a distance, I can see you walking
Crowds of thousands following
There was something about you
That drew people to you
Was it the light shown upon you
Was it the love that poured out
Was it your healing that touched so many
I believe, it was our incredible need
The need and thirst for something pure to drink
The Samaritan women at the well, makes me think
Of how much you came to give
Your heart, was so we might live
Truly understanding our God
Our Savior, our King, who is He
The one who creates, one who doesn’t hesitate
To give all of who He is
One who chooses to build, slowly reveal
A deep intimate love
Out of the thousands that followed
How may found the well
How many understood it’s depth
How many wanted to drink from it
How many searched it’s depth
There is no end, to your Love

My brother, You have been stricken by the sword
You have fallen sick, yet we are still a strand of one accord
When one is weak, the other fills the gap
I will pray putting our enemy under attack
I believe in miracles, I believe your fight isn’t done
Forever we are one, in Christ
This isn’t the first battle we were forced to fight
I am calling the saints to unit
For a soldier to stand strong again
I know your calling, has only started to begin
I’m telling these bones to stand
Together until the end, we band
Stronger, more powerful, than ever before
Man of God, get up, this is not the end of the war
Breathe on him Lord
Once again you will pick up your sword

In honor of my best friend, Jones from Africa, who is in ICU, In critical condition!

Reassuring My love
I’M sending this letter by a dove
To let you know
You are precious, in my eyes
Do not let this world disguise
The truth of who you are to Me
You are My Flower, My spring
My joy, you’re everything
My devotion to you is everlasting
You are my song, you belong
Here with me, pure and free
UN-measurable, are My thoughts of you
I know the you, You haven’t met
Found only in me, I have set
Discovery, intimacy between you and me
In place, Things you wouldn’t dream
In your world, it would’t seem
As it is, the truth that I give
Believe and you will receive
The glory I have laid out for you
I gave all of Me, for all of you
A love worth dying for

Ephesians 2:4-9 ESV

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, …

Spirit of a slave

Captivity, and slavery of so many kinds
From Egypt, the Jews, and African Americans, you will find
A spiritual connection, as we all are slaves, keep in mind
A slave to sin though different, I must remind
Bondage, strong holds, we all know to well
For each of us, there is a story to tell
It took the Israelite’s 40 years to let go of Egypt
A slave to it’s master, accustomed one becomes
Comfortable a prisoner, finally he runs
Once freed, struggle he does
Learning to walk again, because
The inner damage has been done
Though free, a prisoner still inside
A breaking, a newness, he must find
Healing needed or worse He will be inclined
Every now and then, a slave in Egypt would find favor
Put in charge over the other slaves, power he would savor
Even worse then the soldiers, to the slaves he would be
Years of abuse, would come out you see
Find freedom from the spirit of a slave
Do not stay a prisoner to your grave
If you seek true freedom, you must fight
Seek truth and you might, find true freedom, in Christ
