As the rain symbolizes renewal or new life
As water turned to wine, the bride, the wife
Joined together by the blood sacrifice
The binding of two into one, thanks be to Christ
The wife the crown on His head, the Husband the covering
As the bride of Christ we are always discovering
Deep and powerful truths, by His spirit we are renewed
His spirit the water for our soul, little did Peter know
When Christ sought to wash his feet
Unless I wash your feet, you shall have no part in me
Then wash all of me. Those whom have already been washed
Do not need to be washed entirely, only their feet
You are clean, once you received, so have a seat
And allow Him to wash your feet, from where you have walked
Allow Him to cleanse your daily sins, so His blessings wont be blocked
At the well He said give me a drink, If you knew who it was, asking for a drink
You would ask Me for a drink, I would give you a drink, you will never thirst again, so think
What He was saying, the hard clay of your heart, a little water, you might start
To soften to the truth, a little molding, a little shaping
The wall upon your heart, now relating, to the Holy of Hollies
Moses, speak to the rock, don’t strike it
What I like about this, is the gentleness, and mercy he parts
As Jesus bore our stripes, He doesn’t strike our hearts
He speaks to them, holding in His gentle hands a
Stone vessel

Standing, hands upon me
A vision seen
A water pitcher, hanging over me
Bright light, is all I see
Then I feel the water, from my head to my feet
I begin to tremble, tears falling from my face
His spirit upon me, revealing his grace
Childhood demon chased away
The house is clean, and swept today
The fullness of his spirit is on me
Like a giant mountain thrown into the sea
I now know what it’s like to be free
Shock upon my heart
The truth, I don’t even know where to start
It’s like i’m in a trance, or have seen a flying saucer
Am I dreaming, is this an impostor
I have been instantly changed
My life turned upside down, rearranged
The demon sent to the desert, wandering alone
He will look back, missing home
Grabbing seven of his friends as he groans
Longing to return and occupy
If kept clean and in order, he cannot try
I’m set free

Luke 11:24-26New International Version (NIV)

24 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ 25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.”

I believe this is a warning, when we are freed, our enemy will gather more evil spirits to try to take us down. Once we have received Gods truth and healing, the more we will need to cling to Him. He has already won, but we still have an individual fight, with Christ by our side. Stay strong in Him!

Patient though I’m anxious
For promises to be fulfilled
Obstacles, trials, growth instilled
Failures, setbacks, the process within
A constant working through my sin
Anticipation is overwhelming
The person your developing
My eyes at times can’t see
My heart, my faith, give me peace
The goodness of God
How sweet you are, mysteries unseen
How lovely are your thoughts of me
Upon creation you numbered my hairs
So many worries and so many cares
For what? Your favor already spoken
A child of yours a token
Of whats yet to come
Blessings, favor, my creator
My savior
I’m waiting

Be crucified with You

Be crucified with You

Sweat drips upon my lips
The taste of sour grapes
Was it yours or was it mine
A bitter wine
The water wont turn
The feast is almost over
The clock grows colder
Than I’ve ever known
Must I remain a shallow grave
Like David must I act insane
Shall I dance naked in the rain
You once called me by name
Have I lost my way
As the psalmist would say
Remember your promise today
You will never forsake
Those whom you have called
Instead we share “wormwood”
At the time misunderstood
That we would
Be crucified with You

I felt with such a deep message I should edit with some commentary so you will better understand the deep hidden message. We all go through struggles some worse than others. Some give us an eternal feeling of a death taking place within us. Most of the time producing great change. The feeling we can have and the emotions during those times left me picturing Jesus on the cross when he said Father why have you forsaken me. The very moment when Jesus took on all of our sin. God turned His face away from Jesus for that moment.

As His word says we are all everyday headed like sheep to the slaughter. It feels like when we are working through change in our lives and our sin is at the surface that God seems absent. Or turning His face from our sin when just the opposite is taking place He is covering our sin! “Wormwood” Is our ability to share that death with Christ and what it means at the crucifix. The blood sweat tears, the pain and the powerful love that was displayed!

Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers
(34) Vinegar to drink mingled with gall.—In Mark 15:23, “wine mingled with myrrh.” The animal secretion known as “gall” is clearly out of the question, and the meaning of the word is determined by its use in the Greek version of the Old Testament, where it stands for the “wormwood” of Proverbs 5:4, for the poisonous herb joined with “wormwood” in Deuteronomy 29:18. It was clearly something at once nauseous and narcotic, given by the merciful to dull the pain of execution, and mixed with the sour wine of the country and with myrrh to make it drinkable. It may have been hemlock, or even poppy-juice, but there are no materials for deciding. It is probable that the offer came from the more pitiful of the women mentioned by St. Luke (Luke 23:27) as following our Lord and lamenting. Such acts were among the received “works of mercy” of the time and place. The “tasting” implied a recognition of the kindly purpose of the act, but a recognition only. In the refusal to do more than taste we trace the resolute purpose to drink the cup which His Father had given Him to the last drop, and not to dull either the sense of suffering nor the clearness of His communion with His Father with the slumberous potion. The same draught was, we may believe, offered to the two criminals who were crucified with Him.

Out of Egypt you have followed
You started well, like me the idols, many swallowed
The continual turning back
As if Egypt wasn’t really that bad
I see the brokenness, some I have caused
A mirror of family demons passed down
Yet there are angels now and again
Finding their way in
There are many empty clams in the ocean
Yet we have one living among us holding a pearl
She has seen the sand and the damage it causes
Yet found a way to use it to produce greatness in her
Choices against generational failure
The sand continually doing it’s work in her
Yet some of us only know the one current
The current of the empty clam
Together we must fight the current
Using the sand to form our hearts
Leading us in a new direction
Forming a pearl of our own
To the pearl-less
Allow Him to write on the sand of your heart
Brokenness parts
A pearl forming

Deuteronomy Chapter 30

The scattered Israelites will be gathered from all nations when they remember the covenant—Moses places life or death, blessing or cursing, before the people. 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,

With generational curses and blessings, There are people truly struggling in their lives. Depending where you are in the generational family drama, brokenness and sin, It can bring you to identify with some of the deep rooted issues you might face. Trust me every family has problems even if your family has walked with Christ for years. If you are a first, second or third generational Christian it may prove why your struggles are at a greater degree then most! Walking out of Egypt is no easy task. It seems to me even God seemed more frustrated with them because of their indecisiveness and continual turning back to old habits and ways of thinking.

To be a first generational Christian some one had to do something! That someone was God moving in one of your family members to lead the family out of Egypt. The first of the empty clams began forming a pearl.

Exodus 14 New International Version (NIV)

10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”

With the Egyptians it was Mosses. Mosses never had an encounter with God before the burning bush, He was a first generation in the since the only family He knew was that of pharaohs house. yet he was chosen to lead the Israelite’s families out of Egypt. At the same time Mosses was learning to walk out of some prisons of His own!

Deuteronomy 7 New International Version (NIV)

7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction;he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.

God does not choose us because we are better than anyone else, He chooses us because we are the least of everyone else.

So to sum up my point, no matter how broken you are or your family, no matter what your Egypt is like, you can choose a different direction. You will see the difference it will make in your families future. It is a process and there will be those who are still working through the brokenness and there will be those who see the brokenness and choose right simply because they now can see more than anyone, the damage they come from.

I have come a long way as a first generational Christian, but from the outside if someone has walked many years with Christ they could see how much growth is still needed. When I look at those who are following, coming after me, I can still see some of the damage from Egypt, but I also see strength and favor where there was none. I can see pearls forming, and I can also see the sand at work. God is faithful to complete His good work in us! Press on!

In the age we are in
One might begin
To look to the signs
Of His coming
The scriptures unfold
The prophesies were told
Of an end to come
Oh Jacob oh Israel
The center of His zeal
As the blood moons occur
Are they signs to insure
A newness coming
For some they might be running
From the truth that is coming
As Israel stands to be alone
Though we know His lasting covenant
Yet the wicked face their punishment
For rejecting His truth
It’s a time to stand and pray
That not one shall be led astray
As the temple is once again rebuilt
He walks through the entrance gate
The trumpet sounds
To the rising of His saints

Is his view to radical? How does it stand up to scripture? All of us who follow Jesus are radical to one extent or another! Should we just ignore this teaching? Should we keep an open mind toward it? I believe that the north star marked the entrance of Jesus, I believe the rainbow was a sign of promise, and I find this message on blood moons interesting especially with what is taking place in Israel. Is it a sign? I will keep watching! Jesus says to pay attention to the signs and so I will be looking! Please give me your opinion on this. Your comments are welcomed!

Hebrews 2 New International Version (NIV)

Warning to Pay Attention
2 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Matthew 24 New International Version (NIV)

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times
24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]
30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[e] is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Where there are clouds
There are lies ready to shout
In the wilderness it’s dark
Once inside it’s terror is stark
Where the Jedi is trained
Where a death remains
Of ones old self
The wilderness is transforming
A time to be conforming
To the one that is truth
A time to battle the burden of proof
Trusting on the Word alone
A time to set the tone
For future events
A time to build a tent
For the Lord
A time for the sword

Matthew 4:1-25 [Full Chapter]

[ Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness ] Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” …

If we are to walk as Jesus walked, we will be tested as He was tested. We will not have the perfect victory as He had, but we will see His perfect victory through our imperfections! Sometimes we create the wilderness experience ourselves by our own choices.

Exodus 7:16

Then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened.

Whether we created it ourselves or God simply led us into the wilderness, the wilderness experience is intended for us to come to a place of submission and worship to God. We will remain defeated until we are exhausted of all our efforts and learn to rely totally upon Him!

Leviticus 16:10

But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord to be used for making atonement by sending it into the wilderness as a scapegoat.

Notice the scapegoat was sent into the wilderness, just as the Israelite’s, Jesus, Job, Moses, You and I. It is important in our walks. It is probably the most important time for training purposes. How you come out of it will define the soldier you will be for God!

Psalm 15:1 [ Psalm 15 ] [ A psalm of David. ]

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

There must be the making of a sacred tent in the wilderness. A place for you and the Lord. A place where you throw out sin, and worship the Lord during the wilderness experience.

Job 22:23

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent

Psalm 27:5

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.

Psalm 61:4

I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

Moldable heart, caring
Trust worthy and true
Beautiful, that’s you
Made perfect and new
Full of priceless gifts
UN-measurable, divine
Your the special kind
You don’t know it yet
Your fruit is divine
Your still forming
Pruned of the vine
Priceless to Him
Magnificent in every way
Believe from your heart
Everything that is true
When He made you
He hung the moon

We struggle so much, trying to understand our value to God. We judge His love for us by all the wrong things. How good looking we are, how talented, If things are going good or bad in our lives and how wealthy we are. Non of these things are based on the measure of Gods love for us.

He placed in each of us a special quality of Him! Not one of us the same. Each carrying a special piece of Him. Our identity in Christ has been lost in the fall. We became naked and ashamed. Christ work on the cross gave us garments of praise. We need to clothe ourselves with Christ. Our beauty and Identity is in Him.

Our sin is replaced with His blood, our failure is replaced with His victory. Our shame with His mercy, our hatred with His love, our pride with His humility, our judgement with His grace. We are beautifully made.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Psalm 117:2 For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.

Psalm 136:23 He remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

No matter what you are going through, or what you think of yourself, the truth is you are special. The only thing missing is you looking past your current situation and connecting with the truth, It will change your life. God bless!

I’m sorry, forgive me
I know I’ve hurt you
The current has taken you
I’m fighting the waves
To get you back
The rose is wilting
I can’t get through it’s thorns
The seeds I threw
Fell on rocky ground
And now the only sound
There is silence found
Your thorns the color red
Your body wilted
The cross now empty
So is the tomb
Jesus You Rose
Forgive me, then
Water my love
