THE CHERUBIM

  • images
  • Here I was, standing just before the gate
Trembling, and I would have to say, I was in awe
It was like nothing I have seen at all
I was struck by the cloud that hovered over the courtyard
    Just inside the gate
The glowing metal of the Iron gate
Was covered with sapphires and rubies
There could be no mistake of it’s beauty
On each side of the gate, whirling wheels
Covered by so many eyes that held me still
Inside the wheels, coals covered with fire
Yet they seemed as though they were not burned
Then my attention was turned, as my eyes looked up from the wheels
Standing so tall and glorious were Cherubim so magnificent
Stood as a messenger before the gate, I was covered in chills
I saw four faces, the face of a human, an eagle, a cherub and a lion
Then I saw the glory of the Lord appear in the courtyard under the cloud
It was what appeared to be a rainbow in the clouds
A voice rang out “Glory to Zion”, from the mouth of the lion
“Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed
He is worthy to rely upon
Then from the mouth of the eagle
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
They will run and not grow weary
They will walk and not be faint
Then what looked to be a human hand stretch out from behind his wings
In his hands an eagle. He placed it on my back and wings formed to me
With his other hand, a lion that formed into a sword
He placed it in my hand and the human face said ” carry this in one accord”
He placed a belt around my waist, a helmet on my head, a breast plate on my chest
He then placed a robe of many colors around me and said “rest, you are redeemed”
Place these sandals on your feet, and this ring on your finger
So you will always remeber your a son to a king
Then the face of the Cherub gave a message from the Lord
“Now go and set the captives free”
The Cherubim smiled at me and said
“There is a battle to win, so fight”
Then the voice of the Lord rang out from the courtyard
    “I am with you”

In conjunction with my last post (The River Of God) I believe the message of the cherubim is, on the highway to holiness, for my walk to produce the river of God, I must fight to be a better husband, father, friend and servant of God to all those Gods puts on my path! I’m sure if I do, before I enter heaven, every face on the Cherubim will smile at me before I enter!

    Inspired by Ezekiel chapter 10

THE RIVER OF GOD

rainbow1

I was lifted by the spirit, and taken to a holy place
High above the clouds, surrounded by His grace
Was a river flowing and embraced by so many colors
My mind began to race, from all I was seeing
Fish with wings were hovering and then diving
In and around children splashing and playing in the water
I had to ask myself was I dreaming
As seen once before in A Moment In Heaven
A rainbow criss-crossed another rainbow across the sky
So many of the greenest trees, the Box-tree, cypress, the pine
The Olive, and the Myrtle were planted on the edge of the river and a highway to holiness
Some of the largest turtles were walking around, I think seven
Butterflies, flowers, many different animals, fruit trees
There were sounds from angelic god like figures singing
I saw them at a distance just inside a sparkling Gate
Guarded by two awe inspiring Cherubim, standing in His glory
People lit up like lanterns by the joy on their faces
I saw a homeless man at the edge between the highway and the river
A man standing next to him with his hand on his shoulder praying
His tears were the source of the flowing river
It appeared his healing had triggered a fountain to flow
It all then opened up and I saw thousands of poor in the spirit
Lifted up by the saints of the trees, people like you and me
Serving others and setting them free
The power of this love from these trees planted
Flowed the river of God

A few days after the holy spirit moved me to write this post, God started to speak to me about some of the symbolism in this post. This post is talking about our walks on the highway to holiness. The process as a Christian’s life walking towards heaven. The highway God spoke to me is the source of life. The ground in which Adam was formed. It is where wheat is grown. The ground represents bread! Which bread represents Jesus, Gods word. We are to eat this road, meaning scripture while walking on it.

The river represents water, the holy spirit, healing, washing, cleansing and so as we pray for others the spirit of God has called us to do His work. The holy spirit cleanses and so the tears coming out of the man in the form of the spirit. The source of life, living water forming the river.

So many places in the bible God refers to us as trees, oaks of righteousness!

All of the things on the road, the rainbow, fish, turtles are things unseen by the human eye, they are in the spirit hidden from our flesh.

The turtles were something of curiosity in my heart. I had wondered and asked God why the turtles? So I was led to search their meaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that turtles represent longevity of life, wisdom, and protection. Their important in this poem because they speak of Gods protection on this road, they speak of Gods wisdom on this road, and they speak of the end result, eternity. The fact that the spirit led me to write the number seven represents creation, new life, forgiveness 70 x 7.

THE MIRACLE BEGINS

logo

Like a flower stuck by the pod of its seed
I wonder what I could be, if I could just get free
Squeezed by the pressure holding me in
Is it my sin that keeps me from breaking out
I want to shout, my wings are ready to display
This promise that remains in my heart
I know I am called to be a part of something beautiful
Is this what it feels like to be born
New life breaking the surface of the hard ground
Am I experiencing a life to be found
Breaking through, I hear a voice
Carried by the wind, Lazarus come out
Am I being formed, transformed by this pressure
Is this going to measure the man I will become
Shall I push through this test, when I want to rest
My heart feels so depressed, as so many of Gods best
And most powerful soldiers, who have manifest this process
Elijah awake, let me mend your sick heart
Come drink from the brook, where the Ravens brought you bread
Climb the mountain, eat the scrolls and go to whom I send
The pod falls, and the miracle begins!

LIFE FOUND IN A STUMP

PLANTING TREES

LIFE FOUND IN A STUMP

Israel has fallen, the tree stands no more
The axe has been swung, and down she comes
Where the tree stood, only a stump remains
Damaged, rotting, broken and stained
And so the song is sung by the Angels tongue
I will make the rivers flow on barren heights
And springs within the valley’s
I will turn the desert into pools of water
And the parched ground into springs
See I am doing a new thing, do you not perceive
And all whom are wise shall see his glory
He set the trees together
“I will put the cedar in the wilderness
The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress
And though they all get cut down
And only their stumps remain
He made a promise through the ages
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse
From his roots a Branch will bear fruit
Through Jesus hallelujah

I want to give you some insight to this deep poem full of scriptures. At a time when Israel was fallen from God, the scriptures tell us that They were still Gods chosen and our God was about to do something, send Jesus! God describes Israel like a tree cut down and left to be a stump! He speaks of a shoot that will come out of the stump bringing new life and fruit!

He also talks about trees that God, Jesus will put together which speaks of each of us and so the poem is about each of us when we feel like a cut down tree, that a savior Jesus was sent to bring a shoot from our stumps to bring fruit and new life!
The shoot is Jesus, God bless!
